As a Doctor of Pharmacy I originally focused on drug research, formulations and pharmacokinetics which is a fancy term for how drugs interact in the human body. I became an understudy to a physician who had devoted his entire life to studying natural botanicals and supplements. He shared with me his life's work on botanical and herbal ingredients and how natural chemicals inside whole fruits, vegetables, and plants bear innumerable benefits that we all take for granted. You are what you eat and everything you put into your body is either helping or harming you. I hope you'll give me a chance to show you more about myself as well as teach you and help you learn more about the hidden health benefits we all overlook in the world around us.
There's so much information out there. If you're just starting out, taking a proactive approach to your health can seem overwhelming but really it breaks down to these simple things: exercise regularly and consistently, following a healthy, well balanced diet, stay hydrated throughout the day, and get a sufficient amount of sleep. Just by following all of these simple principles it can help improve your health and happiness.
